For 2019, I wanted to share something a little different. This year has been very special for me and allowed me to work with many clients and models that have meant a lot to me in my development as a photographer and as a business member of the community. When it came to selection, there were different criteria used. Some were based on technique, others were based on location, and some were just based on being just plain cool!

You know, one of the things that we lose sight of with modern technology is how many pictures and memories we keep in our digital devices. Mobile phones, tablets, computers, data bases, and other locations. But a few weeks ago, when my uncle asked me if I had any photos of my mom so that he could show someone at a reunion, I realized that all of the images I had of my mother were only in prints.

Today is International Women’s Day. I want to take the time out to thank all the phenomenal women who have blessed me in front of my lens. Clergy, Models, Teachers, Pilots, Lawyers, Police Officers, Restaurant Managers, Entertainers, Entrepreneurs, Artists, Performers, Beauty Professionals, Cancer Fighters and Survivors, Actors, Photographers, Brides, Motivational Speakers and many more. 2018 was a very unique and special year and I’m so glad to get the opportunity to share a little bit of it with you. First let me say thank you to all of you who continuously follow my blog and those who allow me to photograph them, year after year. It is a privilege and an honor to continuously serve you.
Throughout the year I was relatively “local,” but found my way in four states and two countries. Who would have thought I would have needed to travel all the way to Jamaica to meet Jack Canfield? Alicia and Andrew, thanks for the great opportunity in 2018, I look forward to even greater things in 2019 and beyond.
Constantly learning, this year added increased portability and creativity with the utilization of colored gels and speedlights.
